I was reminiscing tonight about a really fun and challenging project I did in my senior year at UNF. At the beginning of the semester we had to choose a tool which we would then work with the whole semester. People chose things like mixer, axe, handcuffs, syringe, credit card, etc.  We had to complete three projects with the tool. 1) make two unique paintings of the tool. 2) Paint a depiction of the inner workings of the tool. 3) Use the tool to make a painting.

I immediately saw the chance to do a painting I had always wanted to try. I won’t spoil it by giving you the details, but I will say I had to get permission to use a gun as my tool of choice.

Happiness is a warm gun
